The way I interpret the article, the tenants in a foreclosure property only get a 90 day reprieve before they can be evicted. Even if a current lease won't expire for several months, the new buyer only has to honor the lease for 90 days, unless state law stipulates longer.
I wonder what the new law has to say about the tenants' security deposits. Is the foreclosure buyer liable for the current tenants' security deposits?
