As an experienced virtual/personal assistant make sure you get someone who is definitely reliable, detail-oriented and flexible. Many of your VAs will have set hours but it is always good to have one that is flexible; a VA willing to bend a little on time. Having a VA is great because you only pay for the time worked. You do not have to worry about paying for benefits, office equipment, sick and vacation time. The downside is that you do not want to get someone who is unreliable and one who does not take pride in their work. You definitely want someone who can work independently and someone who has a fully equipped home office. Hope this helps.
