There are many different types of real estate investing, including development. It doesn't always have to be about dealing with people. I'm not the greatest people person. I don't like dealing with sellers or buyers, for that matter. You can get around this by buying properties at auction, buying properties from lenders, and/or using a buyer's agent to do the "people work" for you. I enjoy researching and looking at houses. I like crunching numbers and working on the business aspects of the deal. I can do all of that without the people issues that you refer to. It's just a matter of finding your niche.
