I may be wrong, but I believe recording a judgment in the recorder's office only creates a lien on RE in that county. It does NOT get transmitted to credit bureaus. Credit bureaus get most of their info. from the courts who originally issued the judgments; hence, there is no need for them to pick up what would essentially be the same judgment that might also be recorded with the recorder's office. But again, I may be all wet.
