A lot of people are wanting an instant remedy to a problem that has been years in the making. Unfortunately, to do as is suggested through the implementation of "Cram Down" policies will only create more difficulties in the long term, as well as the short term.
On the positive side, it should create even more opportunities for investors to implement seller financing as part of their exit strategy.
I think we are entering into a period where the chafe is going to be thrown into the air and what ever comes down will be the determined policies going forward. Once Congress (House of Representatives, specifically) gets their hands on the problem, we will have... an even greater problem!
