The transfer is acceptable as long as the carrier gets their fee. A money making endeavor obviously. Now for Delta I will write verbatum printed in large letters on the last page of the agreement and I would imagine that all the others are relatively the same: NOTICE, The sale, purchase, assignment or barter of Delta FF Travel Award Certificates and Tickets has been held to be illegal. Any person selling, purchasing, assigning or bartering Delta FF Certificates, Award Tickets or milage credit may be liable for payment of the full fare, damages, and litigation and transaction costs. Violators are subject to having their FF account terminated or deductions of mileage made from their account. Such Certificates/Tickets are VOID and will be confiscated by Delta; the individuals using such tickets will not be permitted to continue to travesl without payment of the full fare to Delta. Well there are a lot of key words incorporated in the statement and I don't thimk that there will ever be a felonious charge here. For example, "MAY be liable". Anyway, you just proved that there is a market for everything, even real estate in a slow market.
