I believe what you have done was against all the rules of the airlines. However, that was a great deal for the purchaser. With just 5K more miles and one could go anywhere. Check the prices to anywhere lately and you can see where I am comming from. Miles can be equalized into dollars in many ways. It is that disquishing factor that one should analyze. Once that is figured out, you can then clearly see the value of those miles. Till then, accumulator beware. Anyway, thanks for the Ebay tip. I never thought of trying to look there.
