It's been over 5 years, but I didn't bring any corporate paperwork with me at the first meeting. I did bring a business plan that included our successes over the prior 2 years. Our corp was brand new, but they saw that we had been doing business in our personal names for 2 years, so they were good with that. I've had more success with smaller local banks. You need to ask for someone in their commercial loan department. Each bank has their own lending philosophy: some like real estate and some don't.
