Us Airways sending me an e-mail saying I would lose my 47,143 dividend miles by 05-30-2008 if I did not take action before then. Basically my options are to:
Redeem my miles
Pay a $25 preservation fee
Sign up and earn miles with a US Airways credit card
Three friends and I have a hunting camp in the heart of West Virginia. Three or four times a year, for the past 25 years, we get together to hunt, play cards, bullsh*t and drink at the local Moose Lodge. I live in Miami, Tom lives in Atlanta, Gary and Edwin in the Wheeling area. Since were are all getting up there in years (I am the youngest) I never know when an emergency situation might arise.
It seems I have been flying mostly Delta lately but I have been saving my USAir miles in case I have to fly somewhere on short notice. Since I already have a Delta card (low mileage balance) My best bet seems to be to pay them the $25 and forget the card.
