between self employed (which is how I list myself) and retired. When I got my company credit cards I did it as a guarantor not as applicant (company was applicant). They had no problem issuing the card with the credit line I asked for. I have no direct income (its all Sched C income) so they granted it specifically on the basis of my FICO.
