It does'nt really hit the nail on the head. My wife and I have other cards with high limits and low balances. I really need another card like I need another hole in my head. The only reason for getting an airline credit card would be to take advantage of the frequent flyer miles.

What I am wondering is if there is any stigma in the eyes of the finance companies on being retired. It probably does'nt matter much with a credit card but in the future I plan to sell my homes and warehouse here in Miami and move to a low cost state like Tennessee.

With a sizable down payment and excellent credit rating I should be able to finance any income producing property I would want. What I want to know is if the banks view retired people less favorably than the employed. Do they use this as an excuse to stick them with higher interest rates or other penalties?

Again I appreciate any information on this subject.
