I have two entities, an Ownership Entity (OE) and a management Entity (ME).
Rents are paid to the ME. The ME keeps its portion of the rents received. Out of this portion the ME pays all expenses related to the property. The ME sends the balance to the OE, which is only enough money to cover the mortgage payment.
I understand that the OE reports payments it receives and interest it pays on its Schedule E.
I also understand that the ME is a schedule C business. But, where on the schedule C is the payments to Owners supposed to go?
