Everyone is saying its a buyers market but I really don't see it here yet. The only real good deals I can see so far are the short sales. From the Realtors I have spoke with one a very dear friend they all say the banks are not accepting the short sale offers and you don't hear back from them for months. I have been looking at some REO and the price on these are still way to high once you buy and do any fix-up your at the current market value and for how long? If things keep dropping by the time your done with the project it could be worth less then your in it. I am going to be very careful in any investing I do right now. I really love to buy and sell Real Estate its addicting..LOL
I could careless about shopping at the mall anymore..LOL
I think because the prices went up so fast here that people think some of the prices they are seeing are cheap which they are not! They still need to pull back more before I feel its safe to buy. I am looking for that great buy and I have not found it here in my area...
