However there is Precedent for 179 Special Deduction being allowed for GO ZONE and LIBERTY ZONE Residential Rental Property and the 5 and 15 year Schedule you mention were what I thought Prior to talking to Brian and Don at Redtec Solutions LLC who perform Residential Cost seg studies.
Again I am not a CPA but I am curious about pressing the issue.
