Cost segregation is a great way to front load the depreciation. A couple of things my advisors have told me - Section 179 deductions cannot cause a loss, there has to be basis there. But, in 2008, you can take a 50% bonus depreciation on new equipment.
As Kenneth said, definitely check with your CPA to see how the 2008 rules apply to you!
