Help With Start Up

Hello:
I've been lurking in the site for a while now and I know you guys have probably answered this a million times already to newbies. My husband and I are looking for a way to break into RE and heard alot about "wholesaling:. I am a nurse with four kids and this sounds like a way I can get started with no money or credit.
Could someone tell me how to get started, specifically where do I find these buyers and what kind of contracts will I need? Does that mean I need to hhire an attorney? Also, is there a book at Borders I can buy that outlines the process. I sound naive, I realize. We are willing to work hard, but just need some guidance. I appreciate any help that you all could give.
