When you register for the CRE Online Convention, you must FAX proof of your military service to our office. Your discharge papers, a copy of your DD214, or a copy of your military ID will suffice.
During our awards dinner Saturday night, we will announce the beginning of Operation: Home Front. Vets will receive a special "Vet Package," of items provided and donated by sponsoring companies, organizations, and other CRE Online Family members.

Operation: Home Front gives the CRE Online family a chance to help the lives of our most valiant defenders, a chance to give back in the form of the most valuable and powerful commodity on the planet: knowledge.
Too many of our Vets have problems with family housing, as a result of their absence while on duty in combat zones and other deployments. We (the CRE Online family) have the expertise to solve many of these problems.
Maybe they're in trouble because of the current sub-prime loan market crisis and can't make their payment and are facing foreclosure. Or perhaps they are looking for help for their families while away on duty.
Maybe they are leaving active service and need help understanding how to purchase their first home and need guidance around the many land-mines of the conventional market.
We can help a great deal here, as all experienced real estate investors know, and we hope you'll join in this effort.
Too many of our Vets have ended up homeless. Senator John Edwards recently announced that, every night, 200,000 Veterans are sleeping under bridges or on the street. How can we, as an honorable people, allow this to continue?
Some of the most creative minds in the country are right here on CREonline.com, and we can and will find solutions to help those most unfortunate Veterans get back on their feet and into decent accommodations.
It is a national disgrace to allow these most gallant defenders of freedom to fall on bad times and fade in to the shadows, when the knowledge to turn their lives in a better direction is available to all, at no cost.

Rally Support and Jump Off for Action
The immediate days and weeks following the 2008 Convention will be the most challenging for our Vets and their advisors.
The Vets will be studying material to learn the principles of making money in the real estate market. They will be posting questions and receiving answers from many of the thousands of investors who visit and post to the CRE Online discussion forums each day. And they will be helped and guided by the assigned "Operation Home Front Advisor" from their city or state.
Once our Vets have completed their training, they will go out into the market and attempt to make things work. Some will make money, others will fail. But Vets are tough. They will look at what happened, note what they did wrong, confirm with their advisors, and "fire for effect"! They will do that over and over again until they win the objective: Financial Freedom.
Regroup and Evaluate the Mission
During the next year CRE Online staff will be watching and evaluating just how effective the "OPHF" project is. We will be looking for the big achievers and the ones who didn't fair so well, and we'll bring you their stories. We'll share the ups and downs, successes and failures, so we might all learn from this new adventure.
As we near the one-year anniversary of the "OPHF" project, we will ask Vets and advisors to evaluate this program and advise us how we may improve the program new incoming Vets.
We will look for new successful "Veteran Investors" and ask them to become advisors for the new "OPHF" recruits. Then they will hear themselves advising other Vets to look at what happened, note what they did wrong, confirm with their advisors, and "fire for effect"! Then tell them to do that over and over again until they win the objective: financial freedom.

I am a Veteran myself. I know what it's like to serve your country and return to civilian life to meet the challenges that face you in an effort to fit back into your hometown and make things better for yourself and your family.
