Investing in Australia

Hi,

I am moving to Australia and have been watching the market there for over a year. Like the USA, they have been impacted by the sub prime market. Their interest rates have increase substantially and it is forcing foreclosures and quick sales. The pundits believe the shortage of homes will only increase over the next 5 years and the slump in the housing prices only the next year or so. It's a great time to purchase and rent out or flip in one to two years. The average market increase on homes is 3 to 8 percent per year. Even with a slump, the housing investments returned between 2 and 9 percent. Sydney is getting hit hardest but will rebound the quickest.

Is there anyone or lenders out there that someone can point me to?
