You can attach a corner brace on both sides of each corner.This will stiffen up the door considerably. Take the door off and lay it flat. Place a corner brace at the right spot and drill holes through the side rail being careful that the holes will line up with the brace on the back side. I usually replace the hinges with regular hinges. You'll need to get narrow hinges and then score and break off part of the side rail. Hard to explain here but you'll see what I'm talking about if you go this route.
