Hey everyone, I've recently read "deals on wheels" and went searching for deals. I found one that is a real fixer, located in a very nice park. The lot rent is about $600, and homes similar in the park are for sale in between $40000 and $50000. The home needs new flooring in the washroom, carpet in both rooms, paint, furnace fixed, has no ac, shower faucets, toilet, flooring in bathroom, vanity/mirror, lights/fan, paint outside, needs to be leveled, needs some drywall, sink/faucets in kitchen, and a few other small repairs. She is selling the home for $5000. I figure it needs around $1000 in repairs. And I plan to finance it like lonnie suggests.
What do you guys think? Should I do it?
