ABSOLUTELY!! I think miniblinds are perhaps the best bang-for-the-buck quick improvement you can do on a MH. In fact it has quickly become one of my trademark improvements that I'm doing to all the homes I buy -- even when they already have minis in them.
I've been getting them for $3.56 each from Home Depot. (this is up to 34" wide and 64" long for this price or smaller). Lowes also carries a different brand for 20 cents more but they are not as nice IMO, much cheaper screws and brackets.
Let's face it, mobile home windows (in older homes) are not normally something you want to draw attention to. Mini blinds look nice, let the light in, but block out some of the ugly window casings that I've seen on these homes.
