This is wrong. Just like with a real estate listing. The listing is NOT an offer. It is a request for offers. It requires the buyer to submit and offer then the seller signs and it's a contract. (More complex still if agents are involved but that is the gist.)
If the landlord didn't sign there is NO agreement.
