I am interested in placing a ad in the newspaper informing my area that I buy houses. However, another investor has a ad that says "WE BUY HOUSES/ANY AREA,CONDITION OR PRICE". That was the ad I was going to use. I do not want to use the same ad as the other investor, but that is the basic ad that I was taught to use. Should I try to change it up a little? Does it matter if I use the same ad? Could someone give me a idea on what ad to put in the newspaer letting my area know that I buy houses? Thanks |

jkf, I've learned over the last few years that your ad text does not really matter all that much, as long as the message is clear that you buy houses. The only time text matters is for placement in some papers. Try doing an archive search on classified ads here and you'll get a whole slew of them. Also, request the paper make your first line in the ad bold and centered. Then it may stand out above the others, no matter where it is placed. I'll give you one now; I Buy Houses Any area/condition/price range FAST CLOSE-TOP $$ PAID xxx-xxx-xxxx and one more Sell Your House TODAY Any condition/problem FAST, simple closings xxx-xxx-xxxx You get the point. Just make people aware that you will buy their house FAST, and where or how to get ahold of you. HTH, Jim FL |

Hi JT. It was just a joke (a bad one albeit!) Unforunately, the drivel I spew on the phone w/ sellers in not worthy of charging them.LOL! |

That I was missing out on some new type of income, that was being generated from 900 #'s. What a relief to know that this is not true. I appreciated the humor. hehe. Wouldn't life be grand(er), if RE calls came to our 900 #'s? Yipee! JT - IN |

Yeah, you wouldn't even have to leave the house to do a deal. Just talk about doing deals to all the callers and get paid to discuss their problem with them! 1-900-PHYSIC REI HOTLINE Call NOW! ONLY $4.99 min. LOL Not to shabby, about $300 per hour to talk on the phone! :) |
