I talked to a real estate attorney yesterday and she said that taking a property 'subject to' is illegal in Florida under 'the current laws.' Yet, the next breath, she said that if that's what I wanted to do to get properties, then she would just not record the transaction in the courthouse. She also brought up the fact that, if I took the coupon book, then I would be opening someone else's mail, since the name and address on the coupon book would remain the same. Any responses? |
