My son has owned real estate given to him 6 years ago by
his now deceased grandmother. His uncle is now suing to get the property. Can he succeed?

It's definitely time to get an attorney. The uncle probably can't succeed; unless he was on the deed, or he can allege undue influence by another family member, or, or, or.

This is not Do It Yourself time. This could be serious money in Big Kid's Court.
