The People Behind the Site...
J. P. Vaughan is the co-founder and Publisher of Creative Real Estate Online. She is the author of How to Buy Your Dream House for 1/2 Price (Quantum Publications 1994, out of print). She practiced law in Michigan until she started investing in real estate full time in 1988.
Terry L. Vaughan is the co-founder of Creative Real Estate Online. He has been investing in real estate since the mid-1970s. He has taught, advised, and inspired over 30,000 real estate students and investors throughout the country. He is the author of the popular home study course, Paper Into Gold.
Jeanne Ekhaml is the Editor of Creative Real Estate Online and Director of Operations. She also coordinates our Annual Convention and anything else we can think of.

Lori Hollis joined us in February 2002. She's in charge of Customer Service.
Lori lives in Michigan with her husband, Bob, and two children, Kevin and Sara. Lori says, "I enjoy my work very much because I get to help other people, and it gives me the opportunity to be with my family."

In 1995, when the Internet was in its infancy, we became intrigued by this new medium as a way to disseminate real estate investing information and educational materials. We launched Creative Real Estate Online in November 1995.
Our mission was to provide such powerful, useful, and practical real estate investing information that visitors could hardly wait to come back for more.
When Internet technology advanced to make "interactivity" possible, we added news groups and a chat room, and our visitors started interacting not only with us, but with each other. Our site started evolving into a community.
